PROBLEM
The rocker jogger blocks on a machine in the customer’s printing facility were worn out. New ones from the original equipment manufacturer meant a long wait for delivery.
SOLUTION
Custom Concepts reverse engineered the blocks from the worn parts, drew them in CAD, and then supplied the material and machined the blocks complete in the shop.
Outcome
The customer got new rocker jogger blocks without the long wait from the OEM. The blocks are now drawn in CAD, so the next set can be machined from the file whenever it’s needed.
